Job title of the line manager Engineering Services Manager Job title of the functional manager (if any): Engineering Services Manager Responsibilities: To work autonomously on contract bid invitations. To provide autonomous leadership of a multi-site logistics business startup project. To lead and coordinate a project team. To conduct quantitative and qualitative logistics flow chain optimization studies within their field of expertise.
Objective and mission
Coordinate the teams in the framework of calls for tenders:Understand the customer need: analysis of specifications, meetings with and visit to the customerBe responsible for the construction of the logistics solution to respond to a projectDevelop the sales strategy with sales teamsMobilize and coordinate the company’s various participants to involve in the response (sales, quality, security, human resources, finance, information systems, legal, etc.)Validate the technical and financial dimensioningParticipate in presenting bids to customers and associated negotiations.Be responsible for the start-up of a new activity:Lead the project team starting the new service Manage implementation of the designed solutionEnsure the definition, ordering and testing of the resources to be implemented (HR, storage solutions, production solutions, logistics equipment, IS, etc.)Analyze and solve problems encounteredCoordinate the implementation of procedures, training, reporting tools and performance monitoring (KPIs)In support and at the request of operations: take charge of the analysis and scoping of an identified problem, analyze solutions and action plans with the operational teams, monitor the implementation of actionsCarry out a technology watch on new logistics processes and techniquesOptimizationCarry out studies relating to the logistics processes of customer sites and Group sites with a view to optimizing storage, flows and organization.Conduct quantitative and qualitative studies of the logistics flow chain from the collection, analysis and interpretation of data, from a rationalization and optimization perspective (quality, profitability, deadlines, safety).Conduct operational audits on the logistics flow chainSupport the implementation of new logistics systemsConduct logistics investment studies (ROI calculation, etc.)Project management and functional managementActivities need to be adapted for employees on work-study placements (professionalization contracts, apprenticeship contracts, etc.) to be in line with their training.
